Contact form
-
Hello,
I created a wedding blog and had to set it private as I had an unwanted guest. In order my 140 guests could enter the site I created another wordpress account only for this occasion and gave them the login credentials. That is easier than activating 140 email addresses. So far so good. Now I have the problem that in that contact form I created so that the guest could RSVP per default is my name and email address (as it is my account). But the fields should be empty so that it is clear that everyone writes in their own name. Does anyone have an idea what to do?
Thanks in advance,
EbruThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The contact form is empty. You only see your details because you’re looking at it whilst you are still signed in to WordPress. Others won’t see your details and are able to type in their own.

Hi, thanks for your prompt answer.
They can see my details as they sign in with my credentials. Especially for this occasion I ve created an account to login in to my wedding blog. I thought that would be an easy way to have it private but without activating each guests email address in order to enter the private site. The problem is not that they can see my name/email. It s more that some don’t understand that they have to delete what is inside the field and type in their own name/email. :) Do you understand what I mean? -
So you’re giving people your password etc and consequently your details will self-fill the contact form. Got it. Have you considered just having just the one landing page that people see when they visit your site rather than three different pages. You could then explain what you required people to do and place a contact form right there on the same page (it’s the @ button in the page visual editor).
