contact form
-
Hellow WordPress gang,
I’d like to install static text into a form field using the standard contact form (not a plugin). I have a number of items on attached pages from a gallery that each have a contact form on those pages. I’d like a static field so I can enter the item name, so when I receive an email from the contact, I can see its exact source (ie page)
Is this possible? I’ve checked support and the forums to no avail, and have even looked for html commands that can be used with those forms, specifically. I’m comfortable with using html. Any advice is truly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Go to My Site ->Pages and edit the page in question. Click on the form and click the pencil icon to edit. Click the Settings tab. There you can specify a subject line for the specific form, and also the email address where you want the form to go if you don’t want it to go to the default of your WordPress.com account email. Use the subject line to specify which page on your site the particular submission is coming from.
