is it possible to block someone who is sending borderline threatening/violent type emails in the contact form facility?

Hi there,
You can go to the Feedback page (https://envirowatchrangitikei.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=feedback) select the message by ticking the box to the left and then select Mark as Spam from the drop-down box at the top. This will mark that email address and the associated IP address as spam and you won’t receive any more messages from them.

thank you so much fstat. So simple. Still learning, hadn’t realized I could access those messages there.

as it also turns out fstat, there are more messages from that person there than I received at my email in box. Something is not right.

Could you check the spam folder in your email account in case they have gone there? If this person is submitting several messages to the contact form within a short space of time, that could cause your email provider to start filtering the email notifications to spam.
