Contact form

I have added a contact form to my wordpress site and made sure that under the settings for it I have the Email I want the form to be emailed to saved. I went to the website from my phone and tried to do a test run of the contact form 2 different times and not once did it send an email to me. Why is this?

Did you create and embed the form following these directions?

Double check that you have entered the address without error into the Settings section of the Contact Form set up. If set up looks as though everything is in order it is very likely that form has in fact sent the input information to the given address, so perhaps it may just take a little while to send through or it may have ended up in your junk folder.
If neither of these seem to be the case, pop back in a let us know and we can take a deeper look into this and maybe then tag modlook to have staff look on their end.

I did create it exactly that way, I’m also using the same email address that I’m getting updates from WordPress with. However the contact form is not submitting form to the email. Unless there is some 24 hour lag time l.. it isn’t working. There are also no junk emails to be found.

I see that all the messages from the contact form went through to your email, therefore I suggest checking your spam folder or if they’re caught by a filter.

What email does it say it’s going to because I haven’t received either one of the contact form test run emAils, and I’ve checked my spam and it’s empty. I literally just created this email

I believe the issue is that when I enter a form submission from my phone it won’t send me an email, but when I did it from my computer it worked.
I had my wife submit from her computer and it also worked, and her phone and it worked.
I have not received any of the ones I’ve done from my phone.

Contact form submissions are sent to the email address on your Account Settings page unless a different email address is specified on the form itself:
