  my contact form doesn’t send messages to me, when someone sends a message the form says ‘Your message was sent successfully, thanks’, but i never receive anything in my emails

  Looks like you actually need help for a WordPress powered site, not a site hosted at WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
