Contact Form and Google MX
-
I put a WP contact form on page in my blog (http://agatedesignjewelry.com), and the support site says that when someone submits a message through the contact form, “you receive that message in an e-mail.” Does that mean I will get an e-mail at my yahoo e-mail address (which is what I have on record with WP)?
Second, I also purchased my domain name and mapping through WP, which comes with the option for Google MX (which I haven’t registered for yet). If I register for Google MX, will I still get e-mail at my yahoo address, or does it come to me in some other form in my blog?
Thank you once again!

1. The contact form will be sent to the email address that is listed under settings > general (the admin email).
2. You can change the email address listed under settings > general to the new email address if you wish.

So, just to be sure, does that mean I can set (email visible only to moderators and staff) as the e-mail address for both the admin email and the Google MX email?
Please confirm.
Thanks a million!

Yes, that is right. Once you do the google MX thing, it is for all intents and purposes and full-fledged email address, so you can use it at settings > general as your admin email address.

Great — Thanks so much for all your advice (about this and all the other topics you’ve helped me with!)
