Contact Form Code Not Working

Hello,
I have been trying to place the [contact-form] onto my page but it’s just not working. I tried to turn off the comments, I tried logging out and tried hitting return after the code. I even tried to turn the visual editor off.
Anyone know what else I can try? Here is the url for the page http://www.writewebsitecontent.com/?page_id=5

If you are using the visual editor, try inserting the [contact-form] into the page while in the “code” editor. I had to do that with mine.

At the top of the visual editor area (above the toolbar) you will see two tabs, visual and code. Click on the code tab and then insert the contact form code there.

That was a typo here. Its not working with the dash. I don’t know. I can’t get any codes to work for some reason. Ugh

Does the code disappear when you save the post or publish it or is it there, but just not working?

Actually I just noticed that you are self-hosted and not hosted here at wordpress.com which means the theme and the wordpress software you are using is different than what we use here so our answers and such won’t work for you. The [contact-form] thing is a wordpress.com thing only and won’t work for you.
You need to be over at http://wordpress.org/ . You will have to use a plugin to get a contact form. Go to “extend” and to plugins and then search for “contact form”.
