[contact-form] – Constraining itssize?
-
Evening forum!
I’ve made use of the [contact-form] option on my page here (http://tenstrings.wordpress.com/2007/04/25/network/). Is it possible to constrain its size as it’s x-axis resizes with the browser. When I run Firefox 2.x maximised on XP the contact form field looks a wee bit big!
I’m really enjoying using WordPress as a blogging platform. Thanks!

You can do it with the CSS upgrade if you have it and add in a:
form.contact-form textarea { width: x%; }to the CSS file. That’s the only real way I see to do it.

Yes, it was a nice idea. But they made it HUGE!! Made my blog look really ugly, so I took it out of posts and just created a separate contact page.

Actually it’s setup to be 93% of the width of the content area of your theme.
One word of advise: If you put it in a Page on a theme that allows comments, turn off the comments for that Page. Else you get two forms. :)
