Contact form email address

Hi
I put a contact form into my blog but when I typed in a test message and pressed submit nothing came to my email address as set in my profile.
Any idea why?

Could you let me know if you’ve received other WordPress.com emails at s*******(email visible only to moderators and staff)?
Have you checked your Spam folder for the email?
I see that you’ve removed the contact form from your site. If you can add it back according to the steps below, I can troubleshoot it for you:

Hi There,
I have put the form back but I am not receiving emails. I checked my spam.
However, the website was originally set up by a friend cathal ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) and he just emailed me to say he is getting the forms!!
Believe it or not, he has no idea as to how to change it.
Can you do whatever is required? Sorry to bother you with this…

Hi – This problem is now resolved… I got in touch with the original website who finally worked out what was happening and corrected it..
