Contact Form field is filled in

    I added a contact form to a page. I saved it and previewed it. My own user name was in the “name” field and my own email address was in the”email” field on the contact form. How can I remove them so those fields will remain blank when my contact form is published?

    The fields are blank when people are not signed in to WP.com and they are filled out with their own details when they are signed in. Only YOU see your details there. I would see my own. Because WP.com knows your username, email, and blog when you’re signed in.
