Contact form in front end autocompleted

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi all,
I am creating a new blog in wordpress.com and trying to use the contact form.
The issue is that the fields for name and email in the the front end are always completed with my name and my email.
I would like to be blank and completed by the visitor with his contact details.
You can see the issue here:

    Thank you in advance
    Nick

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,
That’s the way it functions, it uses the data of the logged in users to auto-complete the form, when I click on your form, my name, and email are auto-filled not yours, so be assured its working correctly, I also sent you a test with it. If you would like to check an empty form, log out of WordPress and open your form it should be empty.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions. Happy to help..! :)

    Regards

Thanks Pavanraheja for your clarification. I also had the same issue and couldn’t figure out how to solve it.
I went to Anghelnick’s site and my name and email were auto-filled, so I guess the same happens to my site! :-)
