Contact form messages going nowhere

I’ve got this working properly on raincoastermedia.com, but on my pet-sitting site Hobocoaster anyone filling out the contact form and hitting Submit never actually sends me an email. They just sit there in the Feedback page of the dashboard, hoping I’ll psychically intuit their presence and come running.

How, exactly, does one get the responses in the contact form to actually contact one, ie generate an email?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey raincoaster! Did you get this figured out? I’m not seeing a contact form on your site currently, but I see one in your revision history.

There’s an “Email Notifications” tab in the form editor that allows you to set up an email address to contact as well as a subject line for us to use:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/#notification-preferences

By default, when a user submits your contact form, it should be emailed to the author of the post/page, and the subject line will be the title of your post.

Were you getting emails before and they stopped? Or did they never go out?

I never got emails from that contact form, so I took the form out. I never changed the notification settings, so they should have gone to my normal email.

Thanks for following up! Let me do some testing and I’ll get back to you. :)

Thanks! for that particular blog a contact form is really important. The email just doesn’t work as well.
