Contact form not working

  Our contact form on our website, which has worked continuously for the past few years has suddenly stopped working. We occasionally receive emails but on the most part when using the form you just see a black circle with a smaller white circle inside it spinning and the form doesn’t send.
  We haven’t edited the backend at all before this started happening. I’ve tried duplicating the form and resaving but no joy.
