Contact form (perhaps “widget”?) on main blog page?

  Just curious; not urgent. A “contact” form is a small thing. In my case, I’d use just an email address and the comment text. It would fit tidily into the sidebar of the main page without the need of creating a whole other page.

  However, I don’t see “contact” listed among the available “widgets”. Is it possible to add a small contact form on the main page? This would let me retain my blog in its current, simple, one-page format.

  (FWIW I use the Sandbox theme with custom CSS.)

  You can use the contact form shortcode in a text widget. Make sure and read through the support page fully as there is now a lot of customization you can do as far as form fields and such.
