Howdy there!
The code provided below should do the trick. To add it into your CSS, go to https://wordpress.com/customize > CSS, and paste it in!
/* Contact Form Textbox */ input:invalid, textarea:invalid { background-color: #fff !important; }Let me know if you run into any problems!

@conocerconsulting, when someone uses one of your contact forms, you will get an email with that information in it. You then reply to the email to contact the person.

Hi Happiness Engineer,
I thought that was supposed to happen but it isn’t. Do you know how to enable it?
Thanks, Marion -
It could be that they are getting caught as spam. Check the spam folder at your email provider. If they are getting caught in there, you will have to mark them as “not spam” and possibly whitelist them.
Also, by default, the contact form emails will be sent to the owner admin email address for the site, the one used when your account was set up.
You can, when building the contact form, specify a different email address for them to be sent to. For more on that, click here.
