  There are instructions in here for a contact form, on the post page. But the language does not appear as your illustrations represent.

  How do we allow someone to send an email.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I do not see the ‘add a custom form’ on my new post page–per your copy that I pasted below.

  Secondly, I finally figured out that I had to create a new page to get the contact page loaded.

  Add a new contact form

  You can add contact forms to both posts and pages. Simply click the “Add a custom form” button.

  this is the link to the “new post” page that i see…..there is nothing about contact….all i see is ‘add media’

  Ah – thanks for clarifying! The Add Contact Form button for posts is only available on the Classic Editor. You can get to that editor using the button shown here:
