Contact Info widget

  Hi,

  I have added the Contact info widget to my website. The Building is in the wrong location on the map on the widget. I checked in Google maps and it is correct.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The Contact Info Widget can be very particular about how the address is entered in the widget settings. For the best map, please look up the address in Google Maps, and then copy the exact address that Google Maps shows there. (That may be different from the address you entered to look it up.)

  Hi,

  I have copied the address exactly as it is in Google maps but it still appears in the wrong location. It’s only showing a few yards down the street but still in the wrong place. Thanks.

  Please give us the URL that appears when you visit the address at Google Maps, so we can compare the map to how it looks on your widget.

  The address is Ursula’s beauty and tanning, Malin town, Malin, Co.Donegal.

  It appears in the correct location on Google maps but not on the WordPress widget.

  It looks like Google is having trouble displaying the location accurately, and this could be related to the fact that you don’t have a street address as such.

  Could you try using your coordinates in place of an address in the widget?
  55.295861, -7.261684

  Another option would be to take a screenshot of how the map properly appears at the Google Maps site, and display it using an image widget:

  Hi chrisrudzki,

  I just went for the screenshot option using an Image widget. It was the best as I tried the coordinates but it still wasn’t the exact location. It just moved over the street a bit.
