  I have set up a contact page to enable people to email me. However, when I link my email address it just links back to my blog and not to the email. Am I being extremely dense?

  From what I can see, there’s no link there.

  You need to put the link in the format

  [A href=”mailto:youremail”] Email [/a]

  replace the [ and ] with < and >

  Should work.

  Thanks but I don’t quite follow what I have to do. I have restored the link as I understand it but click it and it just goes to my blog. I’m a bit baffled.

  There’s no link there on the page so I’m not sure what you were doing in the past.

  Cornell is right though. That’s what a mailto link looks like.
