  setting up a contact page. all fine, except my own name and email are appearing in the ‘name’ and ’email’ boxes on the published version and I can’t find a way to get rid of them!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. They only show because you are still logged into WordPress. If you logged out and cleared your cookies and revisited your site you would see what all other visitors see.
