Contact Page Struggle

  • Unknown's avatar

Hey, I am new to wordpress!
I just can’t figure out how to change the header picture for the contact page. The header picture is what I would like it to be for all the other pages but when you click on contact, it switches back to the default image from the default theme. I can’t figure out where the editing feature is to make changes to that contact page!

    Thanks for the help,
    Em

Hi there, open the Contact Page in the Pages dashboard to edit it and then in the Editor sidebar you can add or remove the Featured Image there. https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

Let us know how that goes.

  • Hi there,

Your theme supports featured image headers. That means if a featured image is set for a post or a page, that featured image will be used as the header instead.

Go to My Site ->Site ->Pages, and edit your contact page. In the sidebar on the right, look for the Featured Image section – if you’re using the block editor it will be under the Document tab of the sidebar. Remove the featured image and update the page, and it will show your global custom header instead.
