  I found this guide – https://bit.ly/3vwlydA – to blocking spam email addresses and tried to follow it’s instructions, but found that when I got to the point, ‘click on the advanced tab, scroll down and click the allow/blocklist dropdown’ it does not exist.
  I get spam from the same guy every day and really want to start a block list. Help!

  Hey there! Can you reach out to support for the plugin? They’ll likely know of the issue and have a fix for you.

  I noticed, too, that you’re using Jetpack. That also has an anti-spam option available. I’m not sure if it has a hard block for specific addresses. But if you are using that, perhaps you can contact their support to see what’s available.

  Oh I forgot to add, these are actually the forums for WordPress.com hosted sites that don’t use our Pro plan:
