contact support?! unavailable domains of deleted blogs!?

  I would REALLY like to be able to contact support but dispite their alleged willingness to help users, they don’t seem to be willing to offer that option at all!

  What’s my issue?
  I wanted a simple domain name and, of course, it said that the one I wanted was unavailable.
  So, curious me, I go to check out that oh so great blog with my desired domain name.

  Guess my surprise when I find that blog has been deleted.

  I really want that domain :)

  Since the blog name has been deleted there is no real help for you to get that domain name – deleted names are never recycled at WordPress.COM – they are gone from even the original owner

  You will need to pick a different name or buy and map a custom domain name to a base blog here

  I too am trying to use a username that no longer exists because I deleted it myself. I had two blogs, and now I’m merging them into one. I’d like to use the username from my minor blog on my more active one, but it won’t allow it. This is ridiculous because I actually own the username. Is there any way to remedy this?
