contact with account recovery staff to set old account to private

  Hi,
  I have an account (not the one I am signed in to) that I set up using a work email address, I have since left that job and the email has been closed down, and I have forgotten my password. I want this old account deleted, or at least set to private so that it’s not visible to people on the internet.

  I tried filling in the account recovery form, but I do not have any proof of ownership other than my old email address and as such the form will not submit!

  As it was meant to be a professional blog, the account address is my actual name, so I can prove that I am the person bearing that name, if I can only get in touch with someone who can help me. Thanks.
