Contacted about website being shut down by third party wanted to check in

    Was contacted by a representative named David that said our website was in danger of being shut down. He gave us a number, 800.670.6541which directed us to http://www.searchenginesetup.com.

    I am about 95% sure this is some stupid scam. However, I wanted to check with you guys to make sure this wasn’t some company you guys use to contact members.

    It is a very new site and was built with all the correct tools and themes. We even have paid for the full domain. I would like to make sure there is no danger of this website going down anytime soon as it is critical for it to be up next week for a conference.

    No, that number is definitely not one of ours! Should there be anything wrong with your account, we will generally contact you at the email address on file. As long as you’ve not heard from us in that way, you should be fine! :)
