contacting a blogger privately

  How does one contact a blog writer privately? I would like to seek permission to reprint most of a blog article, but don’t want that conversation to be public in the comments section. The blogger in question has left no contact info on his/her blog site that I can find.

  leaving a comment and hoping they will respond is you only option

  but rather than copy the whole blog and mess up the search engines because of duplicate content, and if you did not get permission open yourself to a TOS complaint – write a paragraph or two on why you really really think that Post is the greatest – then quote a few lines from the other Post and put a link to their Post – then everyone wins

  Then you can’t, quite frankly. Not all bloggers want to be privately contacted.
