Hi there,
You can ask your question here if you want. There are staff and volunteers that work together to provide wordpress.COM support. You’ll usually get a reply quickly on the forums if you describe your problem.
Here the official Getting Help page (and support options) for WordPress.COM if you’re interested.
Anyway, ask away and see if we can help!

I have a static page on my site mytimeout.net. When I create a new post, my subscribers receive a notification email that I have made a new post. Subscribers can read a summary of the post from their email. Since there is a link included at the end of the summary, they can then click to read the entire post. This is great. However, when my subscribers click on the link to read the remainder of the post. They are directed to the “Home” page, instead of to the post they are trying to read. Can this be changed so the notification email takes the subscriber directly to the Blog page and not to the “Home” page? (subscribers prefer not to keep getting the Home page info – but rather read my blog post). I don’t mind that non-subscribers automatically view the Home page first.
I have already attempted to change the Reading Settings – Front Page Displays – to “your latest post”. This option causes me to have two “Home” pages and a blank “Blog” page.
Again, Can this be changed so the notification email takes the subscriber directly to the Blog page and not to the “Home” page?
Thanks!!

Hello mainebrook,
I don’t think you can manipulate the link for reading the entire post in the emails that are sent out. That is pretty much hard-coded in.Here are a couple of options that you could try:
1) Leave your site set so your Blog is the front page and delete or rename to something else your extra Home page.
2) Switch your front page back to your manually created Home page and you can add the following shortcode to that page and it will display a listing of your latest posts:[display-posts include_excerpt="true" image_size="thumbnail" wrapper="div"]Someone else might chime in with a better idea too, but that’s all I can think of right now.
Good luck!!!

Me again,
I just tested another subscription email from my test WordPress site and it popped in a URL to the exact post for me. My URL starts with http://wp.me/#######.Can you test yours and see if it does the same?
