Contacting Support

  I am in need of some assistance, and I can not find any way at all to contact support. I have no feedback button anywhere on any blog page, and the Support button tells me that “support is closed.”

  Is this your way of trying to tell me to find a new blog hoster? How does one actually get help around here?

  support is only open on certain hours a day every weekday. you could get help from here, but it is most likely that a volunteer will assist you and not a staff. refer to this thread:

  Unfortunately you have not posted a link to your wordpress.com blog. ;( Provided it’s not a private blog, perhaps you would like to link it to your username so those trying to help you can see it. link your wordpress.com username to your wordpress.com blog

  And as you have not stated what your blogging difficulties are we volunteers are not able to give you help and instead you have had to wait. :(

  There are 3 ways to contact staff for help with technical matters that volunteers cannot assist you with.
  (1) Use the “support” link on the top right hand corner of any dashboard/admin side page on your blog during support hours, weekdays from 9-5 PM.
  (2) Use the “support” link http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ during support hours, weekdays from 9-5 PM.
  (3) Send an email to support [at] wordpress [dot] com

  Perhaps the two most important points are:
  (1) Staff do monitor these forum threads 24/7 and when they have a link to your blog they can fix things “behind the scenes” without direct contact.
  (2) The turnaround time when it comes to getting support at wordpress.com is far shorter than any other blog host you can name.
