Contacting support staff (to transfer followers)

  I need to transfer followers from a wordpress.com site to a self-hosted site. The material says that if I contact support staff, they will take care of it “in a jiffy.”

  But the links for contacting staff take me to the forums. Anyone have a link that will let me contact someone at wordpress.com support?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  But meantime, please confirm the site you want to have the followers transferred to and that jetpack’s subscription module is enabled on that site. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/

  I’m having exactly the same problem, want to move my subscribers but can’t find any way to contact wordpress!!!

  Would like to move them from http://www.wholelifefitnessfarnham.wordpress.com to http://www.wholelifefitness.co.uk and yes I have followed the steps in the moving_your_subscribers guide.

  Jim, can you please confirm that you want all followers moved from tavbiblestudies.wordpress.com to http://www.jimdavisbooks.com/ ?

  Eurello,

  I posted on the new site today for the first time after you transferred my followers. Email followers were notified, but wordpress followers who read on wordpress reader did not. Should I expect some lag time?

  Hi Jim – Please have them check their subscriptions to make sure they have chosen to be notified by email when you post, rather than just in the Reader. If anyone still doesn’t get an email, please give me some example email addresses and link me to the specific post they didn’t receive, so I can check into it. :)
