ContactMe Plugins

WOW! I’ve been sitting here for hours trying, and failing!, to add a “ContactMe” plugin to my blog. And now I finally come here to check into it, after searching numerous links to try to figure it out!

I understand that you (WP) say that plugins and javascript are not supported, and from what I gather, not wanted. But truthfully, I have added, and removed, the contact form that you supply us with. But I find it rather intrusive and redundant! When I’m ‘surfing’ and reading other people’s blog/articles/whatever, I don’t want to have a big “Fill Me Out” form glaring at me, not once, BUT TWICE!!! Because the “Leave Comment” and the “Contact Me” forms are VERY similar, even if the DO have 2 separate functions!

I would much rather see a less-distractive button ‘hopping’ down the side of the page as I read, knowing that if I so choose, I could contact the administrator of the page.

So, my request to you (WP) is this: could you either alter or in addition to supply us (the consumer) with a “Contact” button similar to the “Contact Me” button?

Obviously, there has been a pretty big interest in such a button! ;)

Thanks for reading and, hopefully!, considering!

First of all you CANNOT add any plugins on wordpress.com blogs. If you want to add contact plugins then you’ll have to shift your gears to wordpress.org platform and you are free to add your required plugins, buttons etc. there.

Moreover, if you want to add links that will redirect visitors to your contact form/page, then you can anchor the link to your contact text.

And, a little piece of advice….. Never try to post any adult contents on your posts, or you’ll end up with your blog being suspended !!

You can see the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org here > en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
