Contempt Widget Box Color

Hey all. Thanks in advance for you help. I’m playing with the Contempt Theme and I want to know if there is a way to change the color of the boxes around my widgets/sidebar from blue to black by editing css? Thanks and here is the link… http://michaelbertoldi.com/

You would need the custom CSS upgrade, and then you could change the border color from the blue (#2E5D99) to black. You could also change the background color from grey to whatever you wished.
```
#sidebar ul ul, #sidebar ul ol, #sidebar ul div {
background-color:#F8F8F8;
border:1px solid #2E5D99;
padding:8px;
}
```
The title bar color is defined in #sidebar h2

don’t mean to take advantage of your services, but could you possibly tell me how to widen the whole theme? Is this serious coding? because I’m no developer. haha

well I guess if I widen the whole them, I would need to change the header image to be proportionate, so maybe its too much work for me to fool with

It can be serious depending on the theme. Most times you have to change quite a few different things to get everything back into proper relationship.
