The authors have deleted this site.”That was a bit drastic as you have now lost that address for good if you only wanted to clear content to begin again. Or are you talking about a different site?

My blog is http://robertwaters.wordpress.co., and I, too, am trying to delete all content and start over fresh. But I am unable to move posts to the trash. The message I keep getting- whether I try to do all at once or a few at a time- is “Error in moving posts to trash.

@robertwaters Have you definitely tried “My Site” “Settings” and scroll down to click “Start over”? Your site seems to contain posts with dates that actually pre-date WordPress ?!? Were they imported from another platform? If you’ve tried and failed with the “Start over” button I suggest you reply here and type Modlook in the tag box here on the right (I see you’ve already put modlook at the front page of your site but staff visit the forums rather more often than each of the millions of sites that are now here).

Yes. They were imported from another platform.
“Start over” gives two options. The first is “Follow the steps” by deleting the content precisely as I have tried to do. The other is “Contact support,” which leads to this forum.
I appreciate the help! I was uncertain where to put “modlock,” and I’ve inserted that tag to this thread. Again, thanks for the help!

@robertwaters I have seen a few cases this year where “delete site” and /or “start over” hasn’t worked correctly and required staff intervention. I can’t see modlook in the right hand column so I have added it.

Hi there. I can help you empty your site, but you need to understand that this will remove ALL posts, pages, comments and media files from your site with absolutely no way to retrieve them later. As you have over 6000 posts on your site I want to be very sure you understand that this is permanent with no option to reverse at a later stage.
If you are sure you want to do this, please reply to confirm, and also confirm the full URL of the site that you want emptied. Thanks.

It took a while as you had a lot of content, but your site has now been emptied and you can start fresh.
Note that none of the followers on the site were removed. We don’t have a way to remove all followers on a site, but should you wish to remove them you can do it under My Site ->People ->Followers.
