Hi there!
The site that you have with WordPress.com was created just a few days ago. I see that the whenadogbarks.com domain that you started connecting to here is not pointing to our servers. Perhaps the site in question was built using WordPress.org software but was hosted with another company. You will want to check that on your end. But if you have any more details regarding that site please let me know.
If you recover it on another hosting you can transfer it here. To do that you will want to follow this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/. Part of that process is an upgrade to the Business plan, please check it here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Alternatively, you can transfer only the content. It can be done on your current plan. You will want to get a content csv file from the current hosting and import it here: https://wordpress.com/en/support/import/
If you have any more questions let me know.

Hi @bikingoutthere,
Could you please provide me with the address of your site to take a closer look and assist you further?

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host bikingoutthere.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at Hostgator. As a result we are not able to offer backups and historical data for sites hosted elsewhere.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.
Use the Move to WordPress.com plugin to migrate a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com. Follow the steps in this guide to import your site (including your content, media, plugins, and theme) directly from your wp-admin dashboard. Prerequisites To follow the steps in this guide, you will need: Your source site: a WordPress site with any other hosting provider (referred to as a seUnfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance. I recommend contacting Hostgator for further assistance since they are in the best position to help with restoring from the backups they maintain on their end.
Thanks!
