I wrote some of my post on Sunday night and saved it as a draft. I then finished writing it on Monday night, added in photos and write much more and saved this as a draft.
When I then pressed publish, my draft from Sunday night was posted and not the most recently saved version. What was posted also included a photo as the features image from Monday’s draft (and hadn’t been included in Sunday’s)
Is there a way of recovering Monday’s draft or is it lost forever?
Totally gutted and feel like not writing anymore posts again.

Hi there,
I’ve been around computers pretty much all my life, and this has happened to me many times … it sucks, big time !
If you’ve searched your posts folders, especially the drafts folder and can’t find it, then I’m not sure much I can do as a volunteer. Just double check :
https://getupoffathatcouch.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=post
and
https://wordpress.com/posts/my/drafts/getupoffathatcouch.wordpress.com
As it might be there ?
It’s possible the staff may be able to retrieve, so I’ve flagged for their attention.
Cheers
Don Charisma

Hey there,
What is the name of the post? I wouldn’t mind taking a look for you.
Also, as @Don mentioned, have you checked the post revisions. You may be able to find Monday’s draft there.
Let me know if you have any questions or find any success in finding your draft.
Thanks!
