Content of post deleted when I "Save Draft"
-
I had just finished writting a nice 1000 word post when I clicked the Save Draft button. It jumped to a page that said “Save Draft failed” and when I clicked the link back to my post, the entire contents were gone. The draft had been autosaving all night, but now there is no “revert to last saved” option. When I reload the post, everything is still gone.
Is there any way to get this back, like some sort of autosave archive? I know the lesson learned here is to write things in a word processor and then copy them to my post, but I really would like those 1000 words back. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi. Yes, there is an autosave feature.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, the autosaves from the particular post are not in the revision archive, but it’s nice to know that feature is there. Thank you as well for the tip on word processors, I will keep that in mind. I do have Live Writer which I will have to start using.
