Content on Mobile is wider than the screen

    Hello,

I am hoping someone can provide some insight or help. I have been told by people and now by Mobile Usability from Google that my website doesn’t work very well on mobile. I know If I am on my phone and don’t tilt the phone that the screen isn’t complete. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this or what I should do to correct the issue.

Its also a wordpress theme. not a bluehost theme. It shouldn’t matter that bluehost is the domain manager when everything else is strictly from WordPress

  • Hi there,

WordPress is the name of a piece of software. That software is made by a community of volunteers on WordPress.org.

The forum you’re posting in now is for WordPress.com, just one of hundreds of hosting providers for that software. We only provide support for sites that are hosted on our servers.

Your site is not hosted on our severs. It is hosted at Bluehost.com, another hosting provider for the WordPress software. Because your site is not hosted on our servers, it means we have no access to and no control over it, so we cannot help you with it. You also don’t use the modified version of the WordPress software that we use on WordPress.com, so your site doesn’t even work the same as site that are hosted on WordPress.com.

General support for the WordPress software you’re using is provided by the same community who makes that software at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

But your issue is not caused by the WordPress software. It’s caused by the specific theme you’re using, and that theme is made and sold by a private company that has nothing to do with WordPress.com, the hosting provider, nor with WordPress.org, the community who makes the WordPress software.

The only people who can help you with an issue with your theme are the people who sold it to you, so please contact support on the site where you bought the theme directly for help with this.

Please stop referring people to their hosting provider for support with issues that have nothing to do with web hosting. That is not helpful, and only makes an already confusing situation even more confusing.
