content recovery after domain expiration
-
Hello! I stupidly let my domain (that I got through WordPress.com) expire. Per my search, the domain appears to be registered to Wild West Domains at this time. Is there any way to get it back now? If not, is there a way to recover my existing content? Right now many of my posts are not showing up, and it displays the following message, ‘Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found.’ I saw other posts that advised making changes in the WordPress Admin, but I get a 404 error when I try that as well.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The content is here https://brownisthenewpink.wordpress.com/
You have to be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade to access it.
If you are not logged in under the correct username then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.
If the log-in information is lost you need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Hi there,
I should still be able to recover your domain from the registrar, but at this point in the expiration process there is an $80 fee to do so in addition to the $26 to renew the domain. Please let me know if you want to go ahead with this, and I can send you a link to pay for the recovery.
If the recovery is not successful we refund the amount in full.
As for your content, if you had the domain pointed to your WordPress.com site, none of your posts should be missing. A domain expiring has no effect at all on the content of the site, but you should be able to see all your content when you visit http://brownisthenewpink.wordpress.com/
The only scenario where posts could be missing is if you had your domain pointed to a site hosted somewhere else, in which case that site would have gone offline the moment the domain was deactivated. But the site’s content should still exist with your hosting provider, in which case it should work again once we restore the domain.

Hello!
Great! I would like to go ahead with the domain recovery.
Now that I’ve played around with the site some more, it appears that all of the content is there. It’s the pages in which I link back to content (e.g., the recipes page) that aren’t working properly, but I’ll look at it further.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I’ve sent you an email with a link to pay for the renewal. Please let me know if you don’t receive it.
Links to your site not working is normal as the domain is not currently active on the site. As soon as the domain is restored those should start working again.
