Content update issues
-
I embedded a pic from media then I tried to type some content which typed on top of itself …after fixing that I tried to save it and the picture and all but one line of my own content was gone … the copied pasted info from another site below it is fine – none of it was saved and after looking at the saved it has a big blog of green with code but none of my content … So, basically the first draft had no revisions period though I update&revised the content several times – oh I cleared my cache and still issues
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Has the post been published, or is it still a draft? As a volunteer, I cannot see drafts.
If the post was created here http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ there is no means of recovery as the auto-save is not functioning there.
If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

So my question is, which way were you using to write the draft?
the copied pasted info from another site below it is fine
Another thing I wonder about is where you copied and pasted from? Some bad code may have been introduced by copy/pasting from Word or from another site online.

Actually, I copied and pasted content from another site first … the stuff from Congress then I …which, is my routine choose a pic and write some content … all done from my dashboard and when tried to save it and came back with a blank screen I looked for the revisions …none were there – but I think you answered it if the autosave is not working

The autosave should be working with this link:
http://point4counterpoint.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.phpYou have to save a draft manually at least once in order for the autosave to kick in. IMO: don’t rely exclusively on autosave.
