Is there a way to do a contest on a free site? If the happiness engineers want to make me happy please tell me how. I can not change my site to a paid site because I will have to change the site name so that is not an option. Ok happiness engineers….make me smile.

If what you are asking involves installing a contest plugin read on.
There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
