my entire blog entry is shown on my blog even though i’ve clicked the
“for each article in feed show: Summery”even if my entry has 10 pictures and a bunch of text, the whole thing is shown. I would like it to just show the first picture and first bit of text and then say “Continue reading…”
how’s this done? because clearly i’m doing it wrong :)

The Summary setting here > Settings > Reading is only for the RSS Feed and does not affect the post display on the front page.
If you want to display only excerpts on the front page of the blog followed by read more links, you can insert “the more tag” into each post prior to publication.
