Continue reading tag in pages?

  I would like to split the content in my pages (not posts) with a “continue reading” tag.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You cannot do that in WordPress.com.

  The read-more tag works on the main posts page (the page that displays all your posts) and links to the single post view. When you are already on a single post the read-more link has no effect and is invisible. Same thing on a static page, as a static page is like a single post.
