Continue Reading wont go away

  I’m actually having two problems.

  First, I can’t get the ‘continued reading’ which shortens the blog posts to go away. I have gone into my settings-reading settings, and clicked ‘full text’ instead of ‘summary’ and it still won’t work. And yes, I’ve saved the changes.

  Second, I suspect it is because of this ‘continue reading’ that I can’t get a picture link to show up on my blog because I only have two or three lines of text accompanying it. (I had to delete it because I couldn’t get the picture link to show up.) It was a regular .jpg file.

  Hi,

  The option at Reading Settings that you referred to doesn’t affect the length of posts displayed on your blog page. The relevant setting on the Motif theme is at Customize > Content Options > Blog Display (Choose between a full post or an excerpt for the blog and archive pages.).

  What do you mean by a “picture link?”

  I fixed question one. Question two… the picture link was me posting a picture with a link attached. But with question one fixed, it now shows up instead of being cut off.
