Continue to get 'upgrade browser'. It's Upgraded and can't log in

  I can’t log in to my wordpress blog. I continue to get a page which wants me to upgrade my browser. I have upgraded by browser to Google Chrome? What’s up with that.

  please provide this info:
  (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

  Yes, timethief, that is my blog. I’ve upgraded to Google Chrome, but I continue to use Internet Explorer 9. I seldom use Google Chrome.

  Hi rootjosh! I have Google Chrome that is for Windows Vista XP. However, my software is “Windows Vista”. I have Explorer 9 as my default browser. When I try to log in to wordpress with Explorer 9, a page comes up advising that I must upgrade my browser.

  When I view YouTube vids, there is atop of the vid to be viewed a warning that I must have Adobe Flash Player to view same. I have Adobe flash. Nonetheless, I’m still able to view most vids.

  You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.

  Hi Timethief! I uploaded the latest Adobe FP. WordPress continues to advise to”upgrade my browser”. Explorer 9 is set as my default browser.

  If I set Google Chrome as my default, wordpress works OK. I’m reluctant to use the chrome, because I don’t have access to all my fav docs. I don’t know how to transfer my fav docs from Explorer 9 to Chrome.

  At any rate, timethief, thank you for your help, time and advice – I do/did appreciate it. Peace and take good care.

  I’m afraid that we only support the last two versions of the major browsers. You will need to update in order to access many parts of WordPress.com.
