contributing to another blog

    I was given a password to upload a guest post but wordpress keeps showing me my own site. how do i get on to the other one?

    To what site are you trying to contribute?

    To post to a WordPress.com site that’s not your own, the owner of the site needs to invite you as a contributor or an author. You won’t receive any password if that happens, just a link to accept the invitation, and then the site will appear along with your own site under My Sites in the dashboard.

    If you received a password, is means this is likely a stand-alone WordPress site at another host, and that password is for a site-specific user account they created for you. In that case, you should be able to use that password to log in if you go to {site_URL}/wp-login.php.
