Contributor invite not being received

  I sent an invite to a person to be a contributor on my blog they did not receive it. So I sent another one and they still did not receive it. I’ve been using word press on this blog and a previous blog which has accumulated experience equaling about 1 year my part with many invites sent, received and accepted. This is the first time I’ve run into this problem. I haven’t a clue as to what to do to correct this situation.
