Contributors and Entries
-
Sorry to be a pain, but one more question for whoever is willing.
Is there a way under the main page for the blog that instead of having actual blog entries from multiple people, you have different contributors and from there, you can click on a contributor and see what they have written?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The approach most people use is to create a category for each author under there name. Then when the categories widget is placed in the sidebar the names are displayed and when any given name is clicked all their posts are made available via presentation of all the permalinked titles to their posts.

Note: I used the word “authors” above substitute “Contributors” and the same applies.
Another alternative you may wish to explore us the “Authors Widget”. Here’s the link to the entry in the support documentation http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/authors-widget/
Going back to what you wish to display on the front page of the blog. You may create a static front page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
If you do choose to do that then it’s important to understand the attributes of Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ And, you must comprehend the differences between a post and a page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
