Contributors can’t upload pictures
-
I want to submit an idea, that contributors and authors should be able to upload pictures. They can add pictures by puting it in as html, but its so much easier and faster to just upload a freaking picture.
So thats my idea, hope its considered.

According to the following FAQ, it looks like contributors cannot upload images, just authors, editors and administrators.

sorry just meant contributors then, but I guess until the meantime I’ll change my contributors to authors.
But, they should consider a contributor that can’t publish posts but can upload files.

Think of it this way: if you upload something, you’ve already published it. That URL is out there and anybody who knows what it is can see it. In this way, a contributor upload a PDF of any blog post she wanted and pass the URL around via email or in comments and the blog admin could do nothing to stop it. The different levels are different levels of admin control and “contributor” level means everything you want to do has to be reviewed first.
