contributors to my blog don't have an Add Media button

    contributors to the blog don’t have an add media button to their post. When I send them a screen shot, their template looks different from mine. They have a second row of editing buttons I don’t have as the owner/admin but no add media button. What’s wrong?

    Hi there,

    Could you please have them try to use a different browser and let me know if they are able to see the Add Media button when they make that change.

    Also, you should be able to open up the second row of buttons as well, by clicking on the “kitchen sink” link as seen below:

    If your contributors are still having difficulty, it would be best if they could contact us directly so we can troubleshoot their specific problems.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I actually changed everyone from a contributor to an author to see if it worked. That was after searching for answers, as did a few of my people. The answers just weren’t there and should have been. Things are getting so high tech that the design teams ASSUME that everyone knows how to do it all and forget that they need to be specific for people who aren’t that techy but use their site.
    When sending invitations for the blog, there is a statement that not all levels will see all function buttons, but no place we could find tells the blog owner what those are or spells out what they can do. I write instructions in my business and always assume the reader/user knows nothing and is depending on me to tell them.
    I hope this helps you understand what the issue was and that it was actually an easy fix once I figured it out by trial and error.
