  Hi

  Can you choose whether you want Akismet to delete a spam post or not?

  If the spam comment is on a post 30 days or older, Akismet automatically deletes it. Other than that, spam goes into your Akismet file and you could un-spam things if you wanted to, but don’t un-spam things if they actually are spam. That would mess up the system for everyone, because Akismet would believe those weren’t spams then and it would let them through on everyone’s blog.

  You can get to your spam by going to Dashboard — > Comments — > Akismet Spam.
