control image in facebook notification

  I’d be most grateful if anyone can tell me how to control which image is used when facebook notification takes place. I can’t seem to find where to go. My notifications otherwise go out problem free. I usually post 4 or 5 images with some text and the image used seems to occur randomly.

  I did a forum search and found many threads on this specific issue This is the most relevant and fresh response received yesterday form Staff:

  If you are using a theme that supports featured images, you can set a featured image and that one should get used by Facebook. Other than that, there is not a way to specify which photo Facebook will use and usually the first image embedded in a post or page that is large enough (at least 50×50 px) will be used. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/selecting-photo-to-display-on-facebook?replies=5#post-670055
