controlling access to blog

is there any way of controlling access to wordpress blogs to make them (or indeed selected pages) password protected.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is this the blog you are talking about, http://sequenceblogger.wordpress.com/ ? If so, please always provide a link when asking questions in the forums since we typically need to see it to help.

Did you read the links I gave you? Posts and pages can selectively be password protected. You would then have to give the password to those you wanted to be able to read them.
If you want the entire blog private, then go to settings > privacy and click the bottom selection and click save changes. You will be able to invite 35 people to view the blog. If you want more than that you have to buy the unlimited user upgrade. The people you invite will have to sign up for a wordpress.COM account (they don’t have to get a blog though).
